Schedule a Collections Visit for Students, Faculty, Staff, or the Researching Public
We have paused our exhibition program while we remodel our Marcia and John Price Museum Building and reinstall our permanent galleries, reopening August 26, 2017.
We welcome scheduled visits to view objects during this temporary closure, as our reinstallation schedule permits. Applications are currently waitlisted until May 2017. Students, teachers, or researchers may submit a Collections Visit request at least three weeks in advance and you will be contacted to schedule a visit—four weeks advance notice is required for groups of ten or more. Visits are currently limited to 15 people to view a maximum of 5 objects.
Please include a list of objects listing the UMFA Object ID number, title, and artist, which can be found on our online collections database. If you cannot locate this information, be as descriptive as possible—we will contact you if we need additional information to locate the objects. All visits are contingent upon UMFA approval and objects may be substituted by the collections manager based on quantity or condition of the objects requested. Please note: certain objects may not be available for viewing during certain phases of construction.
