Family and Children's Classes

The UMFA continues to offer community art making activities during temporary closure!

We are pausing our family and children's classes through 2017 to remodel the Marcia and John Price Museum Building and reinstall our permanent galleries. Many family, adult, and K–12 programs continue on the University campus, at Salt Lake City Public Library branches, and in classrooms statewide including our popular Third Saturdays for Families currently held the nearby Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts & Education Complex Art Works for Kids auditorium.

Mask Making Family Activity
Monday, October 24 | 2-3:30 pm | FREE
Day-Riverside Branch of The Salt Lake City Public Library
Join us to view masks from all over the world and discover why many cultures still make and wear masks. Let your imagination soar as you create your own mask at this family art-making activity sponsored by the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and the Day-Riverside library branch.
