This fall, Creativity in Focus film screenings and ARTLandish programs return to the Katherine W. and Ezekiel R. Dumke Jr. Auditorium, while the rest of the Marcia and John Price Museum Building remains temporarily closed for remodeling. Monthly Third Saturdays for Families art making continues at the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts & Education Complex, located just steps away from the UMFA.

The Museum Cafe is now open and The Museum Store's annual Holiday Market returns to the UMFA Saturday, December 3. UMFA galleries will reopen to the public August 26, 2017.

Welcome to the UMFA

Experience the regions most dynamic collection of world-class art at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA), Utah's premier arts destination. Located in the award-winning Marcia and John Price Museum Building on the University of Utah campus, the UMFA collects, conserves, and interprets nearly 20,000 works from 5,000 years of global visual arts—art of the ancient and classical world, European and American masterworks, Asian art, art of Utah and the American West, and modern and contemporary art. Special exhibitions make each visit a new experience, and a variety of adult and children's programs—most of them free—encourage dialogue and discovery.
