The Marcia and John Price Museum Building is temporarily closed for remodeling and reinstallation, reopening in 2017.

Many free family, adult, and K–12 programs continue on the University campus, at Salt Lake City Public Library branches, and in classrooms statewide, including our popular Third Saturday for FamiliespARTners, ARTLandish: Land art, Landscape, and the Environment, and ACME (Art. Community. Museum. Education.).

Welcome to the UMFA

Experience the regions most dynamic collection of world-class art at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA), Utah's premier arts destination. Located in the award-winning Marcia and John Price Museum Building on the University of Utah campus, the UMFA collects, conserves, and interprets nearly 20,000 works from 5,000 years of global visual arts—art of the ancient and classical world, European and American masterworks, Asian art, art of Utah and the American West, and modern and contemporary art. Special exhibitions make each visit a new experience, and a variety of adult and children's programs—most of them free—encourage dialogue and discovery.
