Third Saturday for families:
Treescapes
Looking for a free family activity in Salt Lake City? Look no further than the Utah Museum of Fine Arts! Admission to the Museum is free every third Saturday of the month, and there is always an art-making activity for the whole family. This extra special Third Saturday is in collaboration with Red Butte Garden and Arboretum! Embark on a scavenger hunt to find trees in and around the Museum and then create your own artwork!
The University of Utah campus around the Museum is a treasure trove of different kinds of trees. Roam the grounds and discover the variety of trees both on campus and in the landscape artworks on view inside the galleries. Explore with an artist’s eye and then join us in the classroom to create your own treescape artwork.
