UMFA in the Wild: Torn Paper Landscapes
at Antelope Island State Park
Venture out to Utah’s wild places and join the Utah Museum of Fine Arts for an art-making experience inspired by nature. Take a day trip to Antelope Island State Park and create your own paper landscape!
It is easy to take for granted the beautiful landscapes that surround us. From the towering mountains that encircle the Salt Lake Valley to the glimmering cityscape downtown, there is so much to see and appreciate.
Slow down, look around, and experience color and art. Find inspiration in the iconic, colorful landscapes of Utah and look at them through an artist’s eye. Try your hand at creating landscapes using torn paper and colored pencils and celebrate what you will discover in the world around you!
This event is free with admission to Antelope Island State Park.
