This presentation explores Native arts of the Great Plains as powerful expressions of senses of place based upon cultural knowledge, oral traditions, spiritual beliefs, and deep relationships to distinctive homelands. It's part of the Now West! series of programs encouraging critical dialogue around Go West! Art of the American Frontier from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and this consequential period in American history.
