Yoga at in the G.W. Anderson Family Great Hall with Jendar Morales

Experience the art of yoga in the UMFA Great Hall, and explore connections between the practice of yoga and themes found in the galleries. All levels are welcome and a limited number of mats are available.

Classes are led by Jendar Marie Morales, a Yoga Alliance registered master teacher who focuses on hatha, vinyasa, and restorative styles of yoga. She helps run the University of Utah Yoga Teacher Training and teaches yoga across Salt Lake City. Morales has an MA in museum studies from New York University and is the director and curator of Mestizo Gallery.

The series runs every Thursday from January 9– February 27. Yoga will not be held on February 6. Sponsored by University of Utah PEAK Health and Fitness. University students, faculty and staff receive free admission for mid-day rejuvenation!

Drop-in price is regular Museum admission, or for as little as $49, get 30+ sessions of yoga and mindfulness with the purchase of a UMFA membership.
