The Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA) is the leading fine arts institution for both the University of Utah and the State of Utah. It is the only institution within the Intermountain West that acquires, exhibits, interprets, and cares for an extensive collection of more than 20,000 fine art objects. Donate to the General Operating Fund
A gift to the General Operating Fund is an investment in ALL the work done at the UMFA–including quality art education programs, hiring skilled and professional staff, and showcasing thought-provoking exhibitions that engage the visiting public. General operating support underwrites ALL of this important work, both in the galleries and out in the community. Donate to Art Education Programs
Quality art education programming is central to the UMFA’s mission. Each year, UMFA educators engage thousands of K-12 students and teachers in every school district across Utah. They support teaching and learning on the University of Utah campus and provide families and adults throughout the community with a dynamic array of art-inspired programs. Donate to Art Conservation
The UMFA’s Collections and Conservation Department protects, conserves, catalogs, and cares for a permanent collection of more than 20,000 fine art objects. This department is also tasked with installing and de-installing all traveling exhibitions, as well as regular rotations of permanent collection artworks in the galleries. Your gift to the UMFA's art conservation efforts plays a vital role in making world-class artworks accessible to all Utahns and preserves them for the appreciation and enjoyment of generations to come.
