The objectives and goals of the Museum can only be accomplished through the cooperation of a dedicated and talented staff. Employment at the UMFA is facilitated by University of Utah human resources, the Museum does not accept unsolicited resumés.

Protection Services

Protection Services is responsible for protecting the art and delivering excellent customer service while making sure all policies and procedures are followed by visitors, staff, volunteers, and colleagues.

Store Clerk

The Museum Store Clerk is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while welcoming guests to the store, maintaining displays, processing transactions accurately, and demonstrating current Museum knowledge.

Volunteer

Our cadre of experienced UMFA volunteers—people of various ages with diverse backgrounds—is one of our most valuable resources, assisting with nearly every aspect of Museum operations. Volunteer opportunities evolve with the Museum’s changing needs and include support of our education, family, and public programs. Our dedicated docents and volunteers provide a unique experience for visitors.
