Creative Aging: Plein Air

Join the Utah Museum of Fine Arts to work “en plein air” in Salt Lake City’s beautiful Miller Park. Painting and drawing outside has its own special magic, allowing for meditative close looking while connecting the eye to the brain to the hand, hearing sounds of nature, and feeling the breeze and sunshine. In this workshop, you will have the choice of working with watercolors or pastels.

This workshop is free for anyone 55+. All materials provided and all skill levels are welcome! Registration is required. We know things come up, but please plan carefully so we can keep this programming free! Please do not reserve a ticket if you cannot attend.

For more information or questions please contact Laura Sharp Wilson, manager of studio programs, at laura.wilson@umfa.utah.edu | 801.585.6176.

Creative Aging programs are free for anyone 55 and better. This event takes place at Miller Bird Refuge and Nature Park in Salt Lake City, Utah.
