In October of 2025, the UMFA unveiled two new galleries celebrating art from México, Central, and South America. This three-year collaboration with Artes de México en Utah and the Transformación Cultural work group resulted in a space that reflects the richness of living cultures, identity, and art.

Join us for a panel, gallery conversations, and refreshments in celebration of the new galleries and the Transformación Cultural work group members who made them possible. This group of community leaders and creatives will share more about the project, the art, and how the past is present in these new spaces.
