Voices and Votes

Join the Utah Museum of Fine Arts in Vernal to create your own action badges and “Get Out and Vote” postcards!

America has a long history of putting our ideas on buttons and badges—from campaign buttons to catchphrases—this tradition is over 250 years old! Get inspiration from some historical and vintage badges to create your own statement button declaring something important to you.

Voting is an important duty of all American citizens 18 years and over, but you don’t need to be of voting age to encourage your friends and family to vote! Join a long tradition of encouraging voters by making your own “Get Out and Vote” postcard. We will look at historical postcards and then create our own. You will have the chance to write your encouragement on the back and mail to friends, family, or even your elected official.
