Make a mask at Marmalade Library

Make art with the UMFA in the community!

Cultures all over the world create and use masks. Masks are used to disguise, protect, entertain, or transform the wearer. Artists also depict masks in their art for many reasons.

Join the Utah Museum of Fine Arts at Marmalade Branch Library for a free mask making workshop! Explore the UMFA’s collection of masks from all over the world and find for inspiration to make your own modern mask. Pattern, line, and color can turn a mask into your own personal expression.
