Volunteer at the UMFA

The Marcia and John Price Museum Building is closed for remodeling and reinstallation, reopening in 2017. Many free public programs continue on the University campus, at Salt Lake City Public Library branches, and in classrooms statewide, including our popular Third Saturday for FamiliesK-12 educational outreach, and ARTLandish: Land art, Landscape, and the Environment.

Volunteers are one of the UMFA’s most vital resources. Our volunteers assist with nearly all aspects of the UMFA’s operations from the Information Desk to the Collections Department, from Docent to Public Relations Assistant. Volunteers help the UMFA accomplish its mission and are an important link to the community.
