A large concrete cylinder sits in the middle of an open desert landscape. There is tan sand and dry, green plants on the ground. A mountain sits in the background against a light blue sky.

Ten educators will be joining us for this unique K-6 educator professional development event embracing land art and the integrations of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)!

Utah is home to two extraordinary land artworks and we’ll explore their cross curricular connections in this two-day event. Experience hands-on workshops and camp out in the desert with like-minds at Nancy Holt’s Sun Tunnels, then wake up and travel to Spiral Jetty for more.

Snacks, dinner (1st day), and breakfast (2nd day) will be provided. Camping gear is available as needed. There is also an option to write a lesson plan connected to one of the artworks for $200.

Applications have closed for this event.
