Looking for a free family activity in Salt Lake City? Look no further than the Utah Museum of Fine Arts! Admission to the Museum is free every third Saturday of the month, and there is always an art-making activity for the whole family. This Third Saturday for Families activity celebrates mosaics from ancient history to the present day!

The mosaic Touchstone by Shahzia Sikander is a whirl of colors and shapes made from ceramic tile and stone. The Mosaic Pavement Panel from Ancient Rome is beautiful and sturdy. Learn about the mosaics at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and create your own mosaic!
