Watch Yang’s 58 minute-experimental digital film Fall into Oblivion (2015). Inspired by the Chinese tale Peach Blossom Spring by Tao Yuanming, Yang Yongliang takes viewers inside a lucid dreamscape. An armor clad character appears in chaotic urban setting out on a journey that questions his and our own reality. Yang Yongliang is the featured artist in UMFA's salt gallery. salt 14: Yang Yongliang is on view through June 2.
