Open Studio: Day With(out) Art - AIDs Quilt

6–8 pm | FREE | Emma Eccles Jones Education Center Classroom

Day With(out) Art is an annual event focused on raising awareness of AIDS and its impact on the art world and celebrates the ability for art to inspire positive action. Textiles have a long history in AIDS activism, from the remarkable AIDS Memorial Quilt, to the many fabric artists actively bringing awareness to this epidemic. Come to the UMFA to contemplate the impact of AIDS and create your own square of textile art!

Fun for a date night, girls’ night, or treat yourself kind of night, Open Studio is an art-making experience meant to satisfy the creative side in all of us.
