Rozel Point at the Great Salt Lake
Venture out to the Great Salt Lake and have a Spiral Jetty adventure with the UMFA. Friends of all ages are welcome to create art, learn about the science of the lake, and explore the landscape through the lens of Robert Smithson’s artwork Spiral Jetty.

Jeff Moore: Sounds of Spiral Jetty
Jeff Moore, Professor of Geology and Geophysics at the U of U will be presenting and discussing sonified seismological recordings he created featuring vibrations at Spiral Jetty.
Katie Porter: Experimental Clarinet Music
Clarinetist Katie Porter will be performing works in and around Spiral Jetty. Experimental clarinetist Katie Porter (NYC/Utah) will perform original and classic pieces exploring the themes in Spiral Jetty
