This 8-session workshop series for adults 55 and better runs September 3 to October 22 in conjunction with Blue Grass Green Skies: American Impressionism and Realism from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.  Participants will have the experience of working “plein air” at Red Butte Garden, Bonneville Shoreline Trail, Tracy Aviary, and Great Salt Lake National Park, exploring a variety of materials, including oil pastels, acrylic paint, watercolor, oil sticks, and chalk pastels.  This workshop will also incorporate presentations from NHMU’s Citizen Science program, Tracy Aviary, and a creative writing experience with Debbie Leaman, https://www.debbieleaman.com/.
