UMFA in the Wild: Gyotaku Fish Rubbings
4 pm | FREE | Willard Bay State Park Eagle Beach Pavilion 20
Join the UMFA in Utah's amazing wilderness and make your own rubbings and drawings of fish, inspired by the traditional Japanese art of Gyotaku fish prints. Gyotaku was created hundreds of years ago when Japanese fishermen wanted to record the fish they caught. Since there were no cameras, the fishermen would make prints of their fish using ink and rice paper.
