Be the first to see four paintings by renowned American artists on loan from prestigious national collections. Three iconic landscape paintings by Georgia O’Keeffe, Thomas Moran, and Alma Thomas are on special loan from the Smithsonian American Art Museum. A fourth painting, by renowned Mexican artist Diego Rivera, is on loan from Art Bridges, an exciting new collection-sharing program. Join UMFA executive director Gretchen Dietrich and UMFA staff to commemorate the beginning of a multi-year partnership that will bring a new level of recognition and prestige to the UMFA, and deeply engage our community through innovative programming and collaboration.
Savor small plates, desserts, and craft cocktails, and hear special remarks by our distinguished guest Stephanie Stebich, The Margaret and Terry Stent Director of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
Free parking is available in the UMFA parking lot directly east of the Museum building.
