Art + Wellness: Mindfulness

Take an opportunity to slow down this Thursday and practice mindfulness with instructor Charlotte Bell. Join us as we explore the UMFA galleries and seek stillness within ourselves. We will practice slow and mindful looking at artwork and participate in traditional guided meditation. This meditation practice is perfect for beginners—everyone is welcome.

Art + Wellness: Mindfulness will be led by instructor Charlotte Bell, a certified Iyengar yoga instructor since 1986, who has practiced yoga since 1982, and Insight Meditation since 1988. She is the author of Mindful Yoga, Mindful Life: A Guide for Everyday Practice (Rodmell Press, 2007), and Yoga for Meditators (Rodmell Press, 2011). She has contributed to Yoga Journal, Yoga International, and CATALYST magazine. A musician, she plays oboe and English horn in the Salt Lake Symphony and the folk sextet Red Rock.
