Drop-in Tour: Art Tours for Book Lovers featuring Beneath the Wide Silk Sky
Saturday, May 18 | 11 am -12 pm | Free

Please join us at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts on May 18, for an all-ages drop-in tour of the young adult book Beneath the Wide Silk Sky by local author Emily Inouye Huey. This tour will feature works of art from the dynamic exhibition Pictures of Belonging: Miki Hayakawa, Hisako Hibi, and Miné Okubo.

The hour-long experience combines art and literature to give your family a broader understanding of the experiences of Japanese people living in America before, during, and after WWII. Read Beneath the Wide Silk Sky before the tour or get inspired to read it afterwards!
