Art of the Mandala

In this eight-session workshop, we will explore the format of the mandala used in traditional and contemporary art in connection with the special exhibition Gateway to Himalayan Art. Projects will include an outdoor mandala using natural materials, gelli plate-printed mandalas, and a mandala created with acrylic paint on mulberry paper mounted on a wood panel.

This workshop is free for anyone 55+; registration required. All materials are provided.

Participants are limited to one eight-session UMFA 55+ workshop offered from January through June 2025.
